DOBERMAN

$375.00

11” x 14” x .5”

Hand-Embellished Archival Print

When I was a young aspiring actor in NYC in 1988, I had a steady job as a receptionist at Journal Graphics, Transcripts for Talk Shows. Feeling financially stable, I decided to adopt a pet. A visit to the North Shore Animal League introduced me to a beautiful red Doberman. Our connection was immediate and profound, but learning about her past injury and potential future needs, I made the heartbreaking decision to leave her in hopes that a family with a yard and children could provide her a better life.

This painting is a tribute to that brief yet impactful connection. It captures the essence of that moment, the bond, and the joy she still brings me years later. The rich acrylic hues and expressive brushwork reflect the depth of our encounter. Add a piece of this heartfelt story to your collection with "Doberman," a painting that celebrates fleeting connections and enduring memories.

“Dear Monti, I am sitting here smiling because the “Doberman” makes me feel happy ... Thank you - and thank you for the thoughtful note.”
