“Doberman“ and “Rubik’s Cube“

Two of my favorite pieces from the art show last December in Monroe, LA. Out of all the work that I created and took to that event these are the most memorable for me in terms of the process it took to create them. I especially love the Doberman because I’d been thinking of getting a new dog and Dobermans are high up on my list.

But besides that, I just thought his expression was pretty funny. The Rubik’s cube was an interesting challenge to capture on canvas. It was way more involved than I anticipated it to be but the result was great in my opinion. I did two of these with a third still on the easel in progress. They’re a lot of fun to have around.
